Learn More & Apply at UCF Abroad

Spend your spring break immersed in Cuban culture! This course and program are open to UCF students across all disciplines and would appeal particularly to students in History, Political Science, Latin American Studies, Spanish, Literature, Education, Art, Engineering and Music. Participants will gain awareness and appreciation of Cuban society, culture, and history through direct and unique experiences. Knowledge of Spanish is NOT a requirement for this program.

Course: LAS 3930 – Cuba: A Collective Portrait (3 credits)

Two tracks are available for this course. Students in both tracks will register for the course.

  • Direct Study Abroad – travel to Cuba during Spring Break
  • Virtual Study Abroad – collaborate with classmates from the U.S.

Students in both tracks will register for the course.
